We were delighted to welcome Kamila Lyskawa to the TSR Select team in September. Kamila focuses on finding and placing IT sales professionals in new, exciting roles.
Recently, Kamila, sat down tell us more about her background, work at TSR Select, and bit more about herself.
What is your job role? How long have you been in the IT recruitment industry and at TSR?
I am a recruitment consultant focused on IT sales candidates and clients. I have been in the recruitment industry for 2 and a half years, and I have been working at TSR Select since September 2023.
What is your previous work experience?
I previously worked for a large IT recruitment agency specialising in placing software developers from the Central and Eastern European region. During this time, I had the opportunity to recruit in both English and Polish.
What interested you in IT recruiting?
I think IT and new technologies in general are crucial and I love interacting with new people. The fact that my job involves me speaking to new people from a variety of different backgrounds and areas of IT every day is something that I really enjoy. I always end up learning something new!

How do you help clients and candidates?
I place tech salespeople of different seniorities into MSPs and VARs. I recently started 360 recruitment so I am working on the client side too to source new jobs.
What does your typical day look like?
My typical day is a mix of resourcing candidates for the jobs that I already have and finding new jobs. I screen candidates and try to make a connection between their experience and the jobs that I already have and potential new ones that I am speaking to clients about. My goal is to find the perfect match!
What do you like most about your job?
Speaking to new people every day and nurturing those relationships - be it candidates or clients.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I consider myself a bit of a chef and I'm always thinking of my next meal. My best way to relax after a long day of recruitment is cooking up a fancy dinner for myself or family and friends. I also love travelling, exploring new places, and learning about different cultures - especially through food!
What is something that many people don't know about you?
I used to box throughout university and last year I also participated in white-collar boxing. I can also speak 4 languages (English, Polish, French, and Spanish).
