Akshay joined us in late 2025 and work in a sales support capacity, supporting Gary, Luke, and Vish across candidate engagement, research, and outbound activity. His role involves assisting with email campaigns, speaking with candidates, and researching new companies that may be hiring within the IT and MSP space.
Before joining TSR, Akshay ran his own marketing agency focused on the construction sector, where he gained hands-on experience in cold calling, prospecting, and relationship building. This experience helped him develop strong communication and interpersonal skills, which he now applies when screening candidates and understanding their career goals.
Although IT recruitment was not originally on Akshay’s radar, an introduction to the industry quickly sparked his interest. Since joining, he has enjoyed learning about the sector and helping candidates take the next step in their careers by matching them with suitable opportunities.
Outside of work, Akshay enjoys going to the gym, playing sports such as tennis and badminton, and getting outdoors. In the summer months, you’ll often find him hiking with friends.
