This opportunity is to join a London-based IT Solutions Provider as an Infrastructure Project Engineer.

Role responsibilities will include:

• Infrastructure Projects: Design, implement, and upgrade complex IT systems, including cloud migrations, server deployment, and network infrastructure improvements.
• System Optimisation: Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive optimization to maintain high uptime
• Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers on diagnostic methodologies, advanced troubleshooting, and technical best practices
• Documentation & Standards: Create and maintain technical documentation, ensuring compliance with security standards like Cyber Essentials.
• Microsoft Stack: Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
• Virtualization & Networking: Proficiency in VMware or Hyper-V, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, L3 routing, VLANs)
• Automation: Scripting skills (PowerShell) for automation and system management

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of backup solutions, firewalls, and security best practices. They will have 4–7 years experience in a senior, 3rd line, or infrastructure role, often within an MSP environment.

Salary offered for the role is £45,000-50,000.
