We are currently recruiting for a 1st Line Support Engineer. The organisation is a Managed Service Provider with 140 staff including 60+ engineers with £50 million turnover.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting: Providing initial support for hardware (laptops, printers) and software (Office 365, internal apps)
  • Ticket Management: Logging, prioritising, and managing tickets in a ticketing system
  • User Support: Answering IT queries, providing technical advice, and training users
  • System Admin: Handling basic Active Directory tasks, such as password resets and user account management
  • Escalation: Escalating unresolved or complex issues to 2nd/3rd line teams
  • Setup/Config: Installing and configuring new hardware, software, and networking equipment (switches, VLANs, VoIP)

Salary is £26,000-28,000 with certifications paid.
